The first week in Ohio.
The first days at university were a bit confusing - the time difference, culture shock, and the fact that I'm about 7,000 km from home significantly impacted the matter. In practice, the well-known campus culture in the United States was utterly new to me. In Finland, I'm not used to the fact that students live on campus. I think it is, e.g., really absurd that I eat three times at school. In Finland, I go to the university about three times a week, and even then, I spend a maximum of 6-8 hours there. After the first few days, the time difference get better, and I began getting used to campus life. I also got to know other exchange students. The first weekend we went to Detroit for a baseball game. I had never seen a live American baseball game, only Finnish baseball, so the experience was unique.
